Outdoor Activities:
Enjoy nature by taking a leisurely stroll along our nature trail. Explore the waters on our paddle boats, water bikes, kayaks, and canoe at no additional charge.
After a day of fishing on the lakes, your evening may be enjoyed by angling off the end of one of our four lighted T-docks.
But fishing isn't the only 'par for the course.' Remember to bring your golf clubs as we are just minutes away from three golf courses. Also a short drive away are horseback riding, movie theaters, spas, and more.
For our younger customers, our playground is fully equipped with sandbox, swing sets, slides, badminton/volleyball court, basketball court, and horseshoe pits (sports equipment provided.) Our safe sandy beach provides swimming fun and relaxation for everyone. In addition, one afternoon a week we have planned children's activities (during peak season). Children enjoy an afternoon of games like old-fashioned potato sack races, chalk drawings, horseshoes, as well as other activities. Each child receives a prize for participating with the chance to win more. We also have a weekly Catfish contest for the kids with a $10.00 cash prize for the winning catch.
Even rainy days are special at Island View. Stop in at our store where we have a pool table, Foosball table, ping pong table, games and more. There are table and chairs where you can get together, socialize, and play any number of our board games.
Shopping:
For those who enjoy shopping we can point you in the direction of shopping malls, antique shops, and specialty shops.
We are also just a an hour away from Albertville outlet shops on I-94. Just a little further down the road is Cabella's sportsman's shop in Rogers, and a little bit further and only an hour and a half from our resort is 'The Mall of America' located in Bloomington, Minnesota which is one of the largest malls in America and features an indoor amusement park, and an underwater aquarium.
